Description	:	Funeral services for Marjorie L. Knutson, age 92, of Niobrara, will be held Monday March 17, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Niobrara Lutheran Church. Rev. Kelley Pedersen will officiate with burial in the L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara. Marjorie Knutson daughter of Augustas and Evalena (Hilton) Johnson was born August 5, 1915 at Bloomfield, Ne. As a small child, they moved to a farm near Verdel, where she attended school and graduated from Verdel High School. She was married to Alvin Knutson on October 15, 1938 at Yankton, SD. Kelley Pedersen will officiate with burial in the L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara. Marjorie Knutson daughter of Augustas and Evalena (Hilton) Johnson was born August 5, 1915 at Bloomfield, Ne. As a small child, they moved to a farm near Verdel, where she attended school and graduated from Verdel High School. She was married to Alvin Knutson on October 15, 1938 at Yankton, SD. Three children were born to them: Myron, Karen and Keith. She lived in Verdel, Niobrara and Bloomfield. In November of 2006 she moved in to Alpine Village in Verdigre where she resided until her death on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the age of 92. Marge loved to travel and went on many vacations throughout the U.S. and Canada. She loved to cook and worked as a cook until retirement. She enjoyed gardening, canning, working with flowers, having tea with friends and family, and visiting. Other loves included playing cards, needlework, sewing and she made many of her own outfits. She watched baseball games and was a Husker fan. Marge helped friends and neighbors when they were sick. She was a member of Niobrara Lutheran Church and a member of the Altar Society. Survivors include her daughter, Karen and her daughter Danielle; son, Keith Knutson and his wife Fonda; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Myron, two brothers and a sister. BROCKHAUS FUNERAL HOME
