Marjorie Kramer 1921 ~ 2011 Written by The Family Thursday, 07 April 2011 Marjorie Kramer was born on May 11, 1921 in Lewellen, Nebraska and passed away on March 26, 2011 in Holyoke, Colorado, just short of her 90th birthday. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of the area. She especially enjoyed the farm where she lived for many years. She was very proud of her family and was involved with their many activities. She also enjoyed sewing and cooking. The last four to five years, Marjorie spent countless hours compiling "her book." It was comprised of genealogy highlighted and confirmed with many family pictures; accentuated with poems and remembrances - written in her own hand, historical accounts and appropriate current events all peppered throughout the book. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kramer to whom she married for 58 years; her son, Floyd Kramer; parents, Orval and Ethel Lookhart; brothers, William Lookhart and Ellsworth Lookhart; and sisters, Nellie Ruby and Lyndall Fuss. She is survived by her children, Jack and Bev Kramer; Judd and Pat Kramer; Judy and Dick Niemeyer; Jerry Kramer; Jay Kramer and Pat Duff; and Janice and Tony Probasco. She is survived by 15 grandchildren: Karie and Tim Probasco; Tod and Brandy Kramer; Kim and Mike Pritchard; Lisa and Matt Schulz; Chad and Emily Kramer; Brett and Diana Kramer; Brian and Lisa Kramer; April and Jim Calabrese; Candy Niemeyer; Richard Niemeyer, Jr.; and Patty Ring; Kristy and Scott Brandon; Wendy Duff; Amanda and Jeff Craig; Cori Probasco and Sara Probasco. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren: Jeana, Troy and Saige Probasco; Claudia, Alden and Griffin Kramer; Kendra and Owen Pritchard; Henrik and Evelyn Schulz; Kyle, Emmaly, Keith and Megan Kramer; Dylan and Bailey Kramer; Michelle, Katy and Shayla Calabrese; Dante and Donovan Niemeyer; Kassady, Kaleb and Elizabeth Brandon; and Katy Duff. She is survived by great-great-grandchildren: Abby Probasco, Alex Bailey and Bailey Roux. She is also survived by one sister, Louise Wood; four sisters-in-law, and a brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 31, 2011, 2 p.m., at the Wray United Methodist Church in Wray, Colorado with Reverend Norman Stott officiating. Interment was in the Holyoke Memorial Park in Holyoke, CO. Memorials may be made to the Wray Community District Hospital, 1017 W. 7th Street, Wray, CO, 80758. Spellman-Schmidt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
