She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Edward and Freeman; a sister Vera; a grandson Robert Edward. Marjorie Hall was born on January 7, 1928, in the rural Brooklyn area, the daughter of Clarence Andrew and Mabel Melinda Hall. She graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1946. Marjorie was united in marriage to Robert A. Cram at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brooklyn, Iowa on October 20, 1949. They always considered themselves very blessed to be best friends and life partners for over 67 years of their lives. Born to this union were two children, a son Dennis of Tipton, Iowa and a daughter Linda of Chandler, AZ. While teaching full time, Marjorie gradually completed her college degree at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1968. She was a teacher at the Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom district school system for over 37 years of her life. This included seven years of teaching in rural schools within the district, which she had fond memories of. After retiring at 62 years of age, she continued to substitute teach in the Chandler Unified school district from 1990 until her health declined. She fully retired four years ago, at the age of 84. Marjorie lived and enjoyed a very positive, active life shopping, swimming, traveling with family, spoiling her children and grandchildren, and enjoying the great winter seasons during her retirement years in Chandler, AZ.
