"Marge" Dillon Date: May 25th, 1926 - May 14th, 2015 Obituary: CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Marjorie L. “Marge” Dillon, age 88, of Centerville, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Reid Hospital. Born May 25, 1926, in Wayne County, to Orville L. and Nova J. Roller Study, Marge was a life-long resident of Wayne County. She was a 1944 graduate of Centerville High School. Marge had worked as an administrative assistant for the Wayne County Highway Department and the Wayne County Court House. She was a member of the Centerville Women’s Club and the “Gingham Gals”. Marge was very active in the Centerville Christian Church for over 70 years. Survivors include her husband, Billy L. Dillon, to whom she was married on June 16, 1945; daughter, Linda (Edmond) Strom of Fairfield, Ohio; son-in-law, Rick Bishop of Indianapolis, Indiana; and three grandsons, Brian (Sarah) Strom of Hamilton, Ohio, Douglas (Bethany) Bishop of Beech Grove, Indiana, and Philip (Brittany) Bishop of Cincinnati, Ohio. Marge was a very devoted grandmother and took great delight in her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Rebecca, Hope, Breeley, and Eliana Bishop and Madeline Strom. Marge is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Gray of Hanover, Indiana, and Carrol Fegan of Cambridge City, Indiana; brother, Jack (Ruth) Study of Cambridge City, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Study of Oxford, Ohio, and Delores Study of Cambridge City, Indiana; beloved nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Bishop; grandson, Andrew J. Bishop; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Levi Strom; parents; and brothers, Harold, Howard, Robert, Richard, and Russell Study. Visitation for Marjorie L. “Marge” Dillon will be from 3 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Centerville Christian Church, 111 North Morton Street, Centerville with Pastor Terry Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family would like to extend a deep, heartfelt thank you to the staff of Reid Hospital for all the love and care given to Marge and her family.
