Marge was born on April 27, 1914 near Ager, Calif. to Jerome Bonapart Ager and Maud Rachael Jones. She attended Willow Creek School and graduated from McCloud High School. She moved to Mount Shasta and worked as a hair stylist. She married Harvey Louis Foster, a Shell Oil Company truck driver on April 25, 1936 and they moved to Montague. Read More	Marjorie Lucille Foster, a lifelong resident of Siskiyou County, passed away on Oct. 18, 2012 at the age of 98. Marge was born on April 27, 1914 near Ager, Calif. to Jerome Bonapart Ager and Maud Rachael Jones. She attended Willow Creek School and graduated from McCloud High School. She moved to Mount Shasta and worked as a hair stylist. She married Harvey Louis Foster, a Shell Oil Company truck driver on April 25, 1936 and they moved to Montague. Marge and Harvey had twin sons Harvey (Pat) and Richard (Pic), and a third son Marvin. Richard and Marvin preceded their mother and father in death. Marge and Harvey moved to Yreka and purchased the Mobil Oil Company, which they operated for over 30 years. Harvey passed away in 1991. Marge was very active in community services, especially in the medical field, working as a volunteer at the old Siskiyou General Hospital in Yreka, and later as a longtime volunteer at Fairchild Medical Center. She was an active supporter of Madrone Hospice. Marge enjoyed dancing and was always ready to dance the night away. She enjoyed playing the piano and sewing. She was a ready chaperone for any elementary and high school event, including band trips and social activities. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and had an amazing circle of family and friends. She loved to travel and was always ready for a trip to Hawaii or any other destination. Marge is survived by her son Pat and his wife Nancy, her grandchildren Greg Foster and Erica Foster, her great-granddaughter Olivia Song White, her brother Raymond Hitchcock, her twin sisters Agnes Bangs and Alice Toreson and many nieces and nephews on both the Foster and Ager sides of the family.
