Marjorie Lucille Larson was born in Story County, the daughter of John Glenn and Bertha Brown Ballard. She graduated from Ames High School in 1932. On January 25, 1936, she married Clarence "Mike" Larson in Bethany, Mo. She was a homemaker who spent her lifetime in this area. She was a member of the Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, Loren Larson of Ames; five sisters, Hazel Rowland of Princeton, Mo., Velma Warner of Colorado Springs, Colo., Doris Sampson of Ames, Waneta Lewis of Weldon, and Joyce Strahl of Indianapolis, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and a brother. Visitation is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home.
