Marjorie was born February 12, 1930 to Opal Jean (Prior) and Winfred Andrew Leek, in Oblong, IL. She married Albert Gene Hershey on June 29, 1950, and he preceded her in death on January 27, 2006. Marjorie was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Allendale. She also was a homemaker, beautician, and helped with the family farm. Carmel, Gaberial Thomas (Stephanie) Padgett,of St. Francisville, IL, Justin Michael Hershey & special friend Kami McDonald, of Mt. Carmel, Valarie Dawn Padgett & fiancee' Jerod Wright, of Elberfeld, IN., Kyle Andrew (Amanda) Hershey, of Allendale, Cory Tyler Hershey and Jessica Mueller, of St. Louis, MO. And 3 great grandchildren: Kathryn Sophia Blake, Owen Michael Blake and Riley Jean Hershey. Marjorie is also survived by 3 sisters: Evelyn Marie Walker of Mt. Carmel, Velma Lee Guthrie of Columbus, IN., Rita Ann Byers of Evansville, IN. and one brother: Winfred Lavaun (Toncy) Leek of Mt. Carmel. Funeral services for Marjorie Hershey will be held Monday, May 24 at 2PM at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale, IL. Burial to follow at Orio Cemetery. Friends may call from 11AM to service time on Monday. Memorials may be made to the VNA Tip Hospice, Mt. Carmel, IL.
