Description	:	Marjorie M. Woltemath, 92, of Adams formerly of Sterling died at Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams on Thursday morning, September 18, 2014. She was born on January 28, 1922 at Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School. She married Norval Woltemath on November 14, 1942 at Okmulgee, OK and they lived in Fort Worth, TX until after the war when they returned to Sterling and they lived and farmed west of town. Woltemath, 92, of Adams formerly of Sterling died at Gold Crest Retirement Center in Adams on Thursday morning, September 18, 2014. She was born on January 28, 1922 at Sterling and graduated from Sterling High School. She married Norval Woltemath on November 14, 1942 at Okmulgee, OK and they lived in Fort Worth, TX until after the war when they returned to Sterling and they lived and farmed west of town. She was a life member of St. John Lutheran Church. She devoted her life to her family, and especially Jana. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their activities and the Nebraska Huskers. Survivors include one son, James Woltemath and wife Bonnie of Adams; two daughters, Jayne Uher and husband Lee of Sterling and Jana Woltemath of Adams; six grandchildren, Matt Uher and wife Jen, Micah Uher and his fiancée Tiffany, Mary Nelson and husband Scott, Jennifer Adams and husband Randy, Jonathan Woltemath, Joshua Woltemath and wife Tara; ten great-grandchildren, Owen and Nora Uher, Tommy and Sam Nelson, Austin, Kylee and Bently Adams, Chase Woltemath, Alex and Kate Woltemath; three sisters-in-law, Ardythe Haynes of Sterling, Lorie Woltemath of Denver, CO and Jean Eilers of Marquette, MI; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mary Schmidt Haynes; her step-mother, Katherine Haynes; her husband Norval, who died December 30, 1996; brother, Ralph Haynes; parents-in-law, Henry and Louise Woltemath. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. John Lutheran Church of Sterling with Pastor Steve Chellew officiating. Burial will be in the Sterling Cemetery of Sterling. A family prayer service will be held at 10:45 A.M. at the church on Monday. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with Shannon and Erma Hazen in charge. The body will lie in state at the Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling from 12:00 noon Saturday until 8:00 P.M. Sunday and then at the church one hour preceding the services on Monday. Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling in charge of arrangements.
