Description	:	On Monday, January 20, 2014 Marjorie Boyd of Sioux Falls went up to inherit her mansion from Jesus Christ her Savior. Marjorie was born in Canton, SD to Effie Mae and Henry Johnson. She attended school in Canton, moved to Sioux Falls at age sixteen, and two years later married William Boyd. Marjorie worked for two years, and then devoted her life to the occupation of Homemaker and Mother staying with and teaching her children. Read More	On Monday, January 20, 2014 Marjorie Boyd of Sioux Falls went up to inherit her mansion from Jesus Christ her Savior. Marjorie was born in Canton, SD to Effie Mae and Henry Johnson. She attended school in Canton, moved to Sioux Falls at age sixteen, and two years later married William Boyd. Marjorie worked for two years, and then devoted her life to the occupation of Homemaker and Mother staying with and teaching her children. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, ten siblings, husband William and two children, Richard and Kathleen Boyd. Marjorie will be very dearly missed and remembered by four children; Gloria, Nancy, Julie, and Bruce. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. For many years Marjorie was a member of North Side Baptist Church which later became Hillcrest Church. Also, for many years Marjorie worked for a local newspaper, and volunteered for 4-H Club, Awana and Pioneer girls and many other Christian activities. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home with the family present to greet friends from 5-7PM.
