Marjorie Kubik was born to Wenzel J. and Lillian A. (Petz) Sila on December 21, 1920 on the farm North West of West Point, NE. She was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. She attended District #32 Cuming County School. On August 1, 1942, Marjorie was united in marriage to George J. Kubik at Grace Lutheran Church in West Point. When George entered the Army she went with him until he went overseas during WW II and she returned to West Point was employed at various places. When George returned the couple farmed for 38 years in the Bancroft and West Point area. They retired to West Point in 1983. She entered West Point Living Center in October of this year. In 1960 Marjorie started “Hobby Haven” doing arts and crafting and attending crafting shows all over the area. Marjorie enjoyed her family and family gatherings. She and George celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary in August. Survivors: Husband George J. Kubik West Point, NE. Son: Gerald KubiK West Point, NE and his family- Roger (Robin) Kubik St. Libory, NE and daughter Hannah; Michael (Angela) Kubik Selina, KS and children Isabella and Calib; Carolyn Kubik Greeley, CO Daughter: Beverly and husband Dana Evans Aurelia, IA Several Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by: Parents, 6 Brothers and 4 Sisters."
