Services will be held at 10 a.m. CDT Wednesday, June 1, at Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah, with Pastor Toby Heller officiating. Burial will follow at the Beulah City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Barbot-Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah. Marge was born on Dec. 14, 1927, in rural Beulah, to Ernest and Otillia (Herrmann) Hafner. She was baptized on Jan. 8, 1928, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kronthal and confirmed on July 20, 1941, also at Trinity Lutheran Church. Marge was raised and attended elementary school at Kronthal Consolidated School, north of Beulah. She graduated from Beulah High School in 1946. Marge worked as a temporary clerk at Beulah Post Office. She married Edwin (Eddie) Wiedrich on June 14, 1949, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Kronthal. Together they lived on a farm Northwest of Hazen, until 1965, when they purchased some acreage and the family moved to Beulah. They enjoyed farming on a smaller scale, as Eddie was employed at Indian Head Mine. Eddie passed away on Oct. 25, 1989. Marge remained living on the farm and enjoyed her yard. She liked working with needle and thread or yarn, sewing, quilting and completing various kinds of mending. Marge was always concerned about the welfare of her children and family. Her favorite summer project was to pick choke cherries and make jelly for the family. Marge was a Sunday school teacher for numerous years, also belonged to the VFW Auxiliary and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Brandt (Shirley), Roland, Ark., Blake (Cheryl), Beulah, Brenda (Ken), Magnolia, Texas, Kevin (Brenda), Beulah, and Katana Price and partner, Mike Freeman, Pacific, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg) Zenker, Jason (Lauren), Michael and fiance, Darlene, Brandi (Bryan) Harris, Jesse (Sara), Garth and Kelsey; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Arlene (Herb) Grenz, rural Linton; two brothers, Hilmer and Marvin, both of Beulah; and one sister-in-law, Lenore Hafner, Beulah. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie; three sisters, Delores Joos, Minneapolis, Minn., Sylvia Koppi, Beulah, and Eunice Hjilm, Plentywood, Mont.; and one brother, Hubert.
