Description	:	Mrs. Marjorie Maxine Sykes, 87, of North Main Street in Brunson died Saturday, August 11, 2007, at her residence after a brief illness. Born Oct. 1, 1919 in Albany, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Grace and Martha Hinton Grace. She was an educator, having retired from Brunson Elementary School, was a member of the Brunson Book and Music Club, the Evergreen Garden Club and the Retired Teachers Association. There are 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was married to the late Franklin Pierce Sykes, Jr. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 AM in the Rock Hill Cemetery near Brunson, conducted by Rev. David Deming and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton Friends may call at PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, 300 Mulberry St., Hampton, SC after 9:30 Tuesday morning prior to services.
