Description	:	Marjorie Brandenburg, age 87, of Storm Lake, Iowa died March 3, 2012 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. Marjorie May was born August 4, 1924 in Mondamin, Iowa the daughter of Reuben and Anna (Zaiser) Thomas. She attended school in Mondamin and graduated in 1941. Following high school graduation, Marjorie worked for Howard Manufacturing Company in Council Bluffs, Iowa during World War II, soldering parts on communication equipment for four years. Read More	Marjorie Brandenburg, age 87, of Storm Lake, Iowa died March 3, 2012 at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake. Marjorie May was born August 4, 1924 in Mondamin, Iowa the daughter of Reuben and Anna (Zaiser) Thomas. She attended school in Mondamin and graduated in 1941. Following high school graduation, Marjorie worked for Howard Manufacturing Company in Council Bluffs, Iowa during World War II, soldering parts on communication equipment for four years. She married Royce Siebels in 1947 and together they had three children: Roger, Marcia, and Lori. In 1948, they moved to Storm Lake and then to Des Moines in 1961. Marjorie and the three children moved back to Storm Lake in 1962 and she began a 43 year career with JCPenny Company. She enjoyed helping customers and later worked in their business office. Marjorie loved working and taking care of customers so much that she worked until she was 72, which was seven years after being able to retire. On September 14, 1970, she married Fred Brandenburg. Marjorie enjoyed her children who were forever attentive to her, as well as she to them. Her girls likewise wrote endearing poems and notes to her that she forever cherished. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Marjorie loved nature and all that was in it. She treasured and loved her three children unconditionally and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Roger Siebels of Golden Valley, Arizona; Marcia Siebels of Cypress, California; Lori Siebels of Des Moines, Iowa; extended family and many friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Brandenburg in 2003; parents, Reuben and Anna Thomas; sisters: Merna Thomas, Willa Barry, and Vera Sherman; brother, Major Ivan Thomas; and one grandson, Bradley Wayne Siebels Obituary & Photo is from The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home
