Description	:	Mrs. Marjorie S. Judy, 78, of 1510 Bonnette Road, Cope, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, at Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church, Cope, with the Rev. James O. Williams and the Rev. Chuck Wells officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church one hour before the service. Pallbearers will be Jason Peele, Bruce Judy, Jay Judy, Michael Thomas, Gerald Peele, Johnny Snell and Johnathan Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Women's Senior Adult Sunday School Class. She was bon on April 8, 1934, in Elloree, the daughter of the late Hamp Snell and the late Agnes Dantzler Snell. She was a member of Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church for 60 years, church clerk for 37 years, a member of the choir, and she taught Sunday school for children and senior adults. She was very active in missions and Bible school. She was also clerk for the Orangeburg-Calhoun Baptist Association for many years. She was preceded in death by a son, J. Bryon Judy. Survivors include her husband, Harris E. Judy of the home; a daughter, Marsha J. Peele of Cope; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Evelyn S. Hood of Vance and Norma S. Collins of Moncks Corner; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the residence and Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at the funeral home. Memaorials may be made to Two Mile Swamp Baptist Church, 1066 Bonnette Road, Cope, SC 29038.
