Description	:	Mark Christensen of St. Paul died unexpectedly at 2:30 Sunday morning after a lingering illness at the Howard County Memorial Hospital at the age of 77 years and 10 months. (Funeral details followed.) Mark, son of George and Dorothea Christensen was born July 13, 1884 near Wahoo, Nebraska and was baptized in the Lutheran faith. At the age of seven the family moved to a farm near Wolbach, where he assisted with farming. He received his elementary education in district 56. On March 9, 1921, Mark was married to Rose Andreasen at St. Paul. At this time became a member of the South Logan Lutheran Church. Mrs. Rose Christensen passed away in July 1935. August 10, 1938 he was united in marriage to Metta C. Enevoldsen at St. Paul. He farmed in the Fairdale community for 17 years. He became a member of the Fairdale Methodist Church. Mark was an extensive farmer until his retirement in January 1956 when they moved to their new home in St. Paul. When they moved to St. Paul, he became a member of the United Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Metta; two sisters, Miss Emma Christensen, Miles City, Montana; Mrs. Eva Hansen, Wolbach; three brothers, Chris of Miles City, Montana; George of Wolbach and Carl M. of St. Paul, also many other relatives and friends mourn his death.
