| Description | : | CORINNA - Mark S. Brooks, 88, died September 20, 2001 at his residence. He was born July 27, 1913 at the family farm in North Newport, the son of Harry and Helena (Downes) Brooks. He attended school in Newport, Detroit, and Holbrook, Mass. He worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps, local mills, and retired from the Maine Department of Transportation after 21 years.
