Description	:	Mark "Steve" Nort, 66, of Monroe Township, passed away on April 4, 2022, under hospice care with his family by his side. He was born on December 5, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William "Chub" Nort and the late Emma Nort. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joyce (nee Marlow) Nort; children, Chad (Riley) Nort, and Kayla (Corey) Forsee; siblings, Carolyn Dingus, and Roger (Belinda) Nort; brother-in-law, Paul Martin, and sister-in-law, Joyce Nort. Read More	Mark "Steve" Nort, 66, of Monroe Township, passed away on April 4, 2022, under hospice care with his family by his side. He was born on December 5, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William "Chub" Nort and the late Emma Nort. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Joyce (nee Marlow) Nort; children, Chad (Riley) Nort, and Kayla (Corey) Forsee; siblings, Carolyn Dingus, and Roger (Belinda) Nort; brother-in-law, Paul Martin, and sister-in-law, Joyce Nort. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Martin and Paul Nort; brother-in-law Fred Dingus. Steve was a volunteer firefighter and an emergency medical technician for the Monroe Township Fire Department. He had served as a past Master at Moscow Ohio Masonic Lodge 122. He had a generous and genuine heart, and was a loving human being. He was the proudest "Papa" and Uncle, and always put his family first, never missing an event for his children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball, and teasing others. A public visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 10 AM until noon, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, 200 Western Avenue, New Richmond, Ohio, 45157. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, at noon, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service, at Laurel Carmel Memorial, 1957 Laurel Lindale Road, New Richmond, Ohio, 45157.
