Fifteenth St., Des Moines, Iowa, died of a respiratory ailment, Wednesday May 27, 1985, at Mesa General Hospital, Mesa, AZ., where he resided during the winter. Services held in Des Moines at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Further services were held at United Methodist Church in Shelby, Iowa with burial in the Shelby town cemetery. He was preceded in death of his first wife, Alma, and his parents. Mr Edwards was born in Harrison, County IA and resided in Shelby 24 years and lived in Des Moines the past 48 years. He was a retired maintenance mechanic at a meat packing plant and was a member of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.
