Description	:	Marsha M. (Orr) Coughtry, 62, of Grand Island passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Spirit of Life Church, 2304 Macron St., Grand Island, with the Rev. Tim Kilstrom officiating. Inurnment of ashes will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Shelton Cemetery at Shelton. There will be no visitation. Marsha Mae Orr Coughtry was born Oct. 13, 1951, in Lewellen, Neb., the daughter of Clifford Orr and Donna Orr Cervantes. Marsha will be missed by her family: Jeffery Resh of Grand Island, Jason, Kim, Amber and Jason (Jr.) Funk of Hastings, Jessica, Jim and Kaitlyn Camplin of Grand Island, Terry amd Virginia Orr of Grand Island, Linda and Frank Spotanski of Shelton, Randy Orr of Grand Island, Roy Orr of Grand Island, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Marsha received her education in Gibbon, graduating from Gibbon High School. She worked at various jobs and was a member of the Gibbon Baptist Church. Later when she moved to Grand Island she joined the Spirit of Life Church, where she served as an usher. She loved her church family and was loved by them. Due to failing health she made her home at Wedgewood Care Center, where she enjoyed playing bingo (and calling Bingo), playing cards and the craft room. Marsha enjoyed collecting jewelry and loved to show her family and friends her jewelry and tell them about each piece. She will be remembered for her caring spirit and willingness to help when and wherever she could. Marsha will be missed very much, but we rejoice in the knowledge that she is pain free, happy and we will see her again. Apfel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
