Services were Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Hill with Rev. Joshua Lowe officiating. Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Blue Hill with military rites by A. Grimshaw was born on Nov. 8, 1926 to Hiram and Wilhelmina (Stuann) Grimshaw of Peoria, Ill. His mother died when he was eight days old. He was raised by his father and stepmother, Alma. When he was 17 he joined the Navy during World War II. He married Phyllis V. Ruhs on March 8, 1969 in Peoria, Ill. He worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, as a timekeeper and retired in 1982. Marshall and Phyllis had a landscaping business, loved trees, the outdoors and the home they built near Blue Hill. He moved to Blue Hill from Peoria in 1990. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Leona Ruhs of Blue Hill; one sister, Marian Kempin of Lafayette, Ind.; one brother-in-law, Walter Schneckenburger of Peoria, Ill. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis (Dec. 13, 2010); one sister, Judith Schneckenburger; and one brother-in-law, Renie Kempin. Blue Hill Leader 29 Feb 2012 Page 4
