Description	:	Marshall Earl Robinson was born to James Duncan and Mary Bailey Nelson Robinson on a farm south of Schaller on August 13, 1903. In 1905, he moved with his family to Schaller where he received his education. Marshall graduated in 1922 and attended the State University of Iowa before deciding to make farming and cattle feeding his career. In 1925 Marshall was married to Griselda Schmidt at St. Paul's Lutheran in Schaller. Following their marriage, they lived in the Milford area for three years and then east of Schaller for 16 years. In 1944 they moved to the farm... Read More	Marshall Earl Robinson was born to James Duncan and Mary Bailey Nelson Robinson on a farm south of Schaller on August 13, 1903. In 1905, he moved with his family to Schaller where he received his education. Marshall graduated in 1922 and attended the State University of Iowa before deciding to make farming and cattle feeding his career. In 1925 Marshall was married to Griselda Schmidt at St. Paul's Lutheran in Schaller. Following their marriage, they lived in the Milford area for three years and then east of Schaller for 16 years. In 1944 they moved to the farm that they purchased west of Schaller and it was here that Marshall resided until his death. Marshall was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran where he remained a faithful member, served as an elder, and held other church offices. He was Eden Township assessor, worked for the Farm Security Administration, the A.A.A. and other groups. At the time of his death, he was a Eureka Township trustee. He is survived by his wife, Griselda, and one daughter, Marla Jean and husband William Rindsig of Spencer; three grandchildren, Robin and wife Terri of Spencer, Steven and wife Jennifer and great grandchildren Matthew and Stephanie of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and granddaughter Billee Jean Rindsig of Ames; one brother, James B. of Portland, Oregon, two sisters, Lou Ella Tryon of Storm Lake and Elizabeth Jarvis of Alta and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie, and four half brothers and sisters, Emma Robinson Hixson, DeLos and Guy Robinson, and Vivian Nelson Watkins. Contributor: Anonymous (48989501)
