Description	:	Marshall Fairfax Norcut, son of Allison Henry and Lucy Ann Boyles Norcutt, was born near Woodville, Adams County, Illinois, March 20, 1861 and passed away March 8, 1935, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 16 days. In the spring of 1866 he moved with his parents to Grinnell, Iowa. Three years later they came to Nodaway, where he has since resided with but a brief absence during the remainder of his life. Read More	Marshall Fairfax Norcut, son of Allison Henry and Lucy Ann Boyles Norcutt, was born near Woodville, Adams County, Illinois, March 20, 1861 and passed away March 8, 1935, at the age of 72 years, 11 months, and 16 days. In the spring of 1866 he moved with his parents to Grinnell, Iowa. Three years later they came to Nodaway, where he has since resided with but a brief absence during the remainder of his life. On October 24, 1886, he was united in marriage to Ida May Mason and to this union four children were born, one dying in infancy. His father, mother, one sister, and two brothers preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his going, his wife, three children, Mrs. Glea McCoy, Mrs. Harold Everett, and Mrs. Earl Norcutt, who being ill was not able to be present; eleven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Will Strain of Phoenix, Arizona and Mrs. G. H. Rucker of Kansas City, Missouri; four brothers, Will of Stanford, Montana; Spencer of Denton, Montana; Henry of Madison, Kansas; Raymond of Boliver, Missouri. Also a host of nieces and nephews and friends. The services were held Sunday afternoon, March 10, at the Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Wayne Emry, assisted by Rev. Ray Cornwell.
