The daughter of Samuel and Rebecca Teeter, she was born December 2, 1914 in Pottsville. She married Macie Gene Wylie on July 23, 1941 in New London, CT. Martha was an Arkansas Tech University graduate and an elementary education teacher for the Russellville School District. She was preceded... Read More	Martha Alice Teeter Wylie, 98, of Russellville, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, August 25, 2013 at the Russellville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The daughter of Samuel and Rebecca Teeter, she was born December 2, 1914 in Pottsville. She married Macie Gene Wylie on July 23, 1941 in New London, CT. Martha was an Arkansas Tech University graduate and an elementary education teacher for the Russellville School District. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Russellville, the Pope County and Arkansas Retired Teachers Association, Current Book Review Club and the P.K. Merrill Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband Macie Gene Wylie; her parents; daughter-in-law, Jane Wylie; and sister, Mary Ellen Eoff. Survivors include her son, Wilson Gene Wylie of Russellville; granddaughter, Alexis Ann Williams of Little Rock; sister, Cathryn Jane Faulkner of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Gail Brooks will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be the First United Methodist Church of Russellville, 406 S Commerce St, Russellville, AR 72801. Pallbearers are Jim Horton, Milton Eoff, Charles Peterson, David Vance, Billy Kiehl and Jim Knight. Honorary pallbearers are members of the P. K. Merril Sunday school class.
