Jan. 15— Miss Martha Ann Fowler, 82 years old, a highly esteemed resi- dent of Monticello, passed away Thursday night about 9:40 o'clock at the home of her broth- er, James Fowler, on South Tippe- canoe boulevard. The aged woman had made her home with her brother and wife for the last two years. Miss Fowler was born Novem- ber 20, 1845, in White county, the daughter of James Riley and Jane (Shortridge) Fowler.
