She was born March 20, 1863 in Nova Scotia, Canada, and came to the United States and Eureka 66 years ago. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Eureka and the Grandmother's Club at the church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ellis Coffron and Mrs Lynn Look, both of Eureka; two grandchildren, Mrs. Beryl Jones of Hawkins Bar and Albert Peterson of Oakland; several nieces and nephews.
