Visitation and viewing will be held Sunday, Jan. 31, from noon until 6 p.m. at Tennant Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 1 at Peace Lutheran Church, with Rev. Gene Zeller officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Reitz was born Jan. 15, 1905 in Albion, Neb. to George and Katheleen (Kaufman) Bath. She grew up in the Fort Mor gan and Brush areas. She married William Reitz on Jan. 15, 1923 in Chappell, Neb. They lived in different towns in Colorado and Nebraska were Mr. Reitz worked on the railroad. They retired and moved to Sterling in the early 1960s. She loved to cook and crotchet. She is survived by two daughters, Virginia Dick and husband Leo of Berthoud and Rosemary Rosenbach of Denver; three sisters, Esther Brunkhardt of Sterling, Florence Powell of Denver and Pauline Wagner of Sterling; two brothers, Harry Bath of Loveland and Joe Bath of Florence; 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grand children and 13 great-great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William in 1968; two sons, Edward and Harold Reitz; a granddaughter, Sharon Dick; four sisters and two brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church.
