Description	:	Mrs. Martha Cross died this morning, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Nancy Street, in this city, aged about 78 years. Deceased has been lying in bed, helpless and suffering intensely for months, attended by her two faithful daughters, Mrs. Street and Mrs. (Rosella) Lavalleur. She was the widow of Ami Cross, who died about ten years ago, and besides the daughters above named has one son, F. P. Cross. She was one of the best women among the pioneer mothers of Jasper county.
