Description	:	Martha Elizabeth Brown, 86, of 1209 West Avenue, Eureka, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. She was a native of Salmon Creek area and had lived all of her life in Humboldt. For many years she had been an active member of the Christian Church in Eureka. She is survived by sons and daughters, James Walter Brown, Dallas, Oregon; Mrs. Wilma Wagle, Chris Brown, Mrs. Myrla Jacobsen, all of Eureka; George C. Brown of Sparks, Nevada, and Carl C. Brown of Fortuna; sister, Mrs. Eliza Rowley of Fortuna; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services have been set... She is survived by sons and daughters, James Walter Brown, Dallas, Oregon; Mrs. Wilma Wagle, Chris Brown, Mrs. Myrla Jacobsen, all of Eureka; George C. Brown of Sparks, Nevada, and Carl C. Brown of Fortuna; sister, Mrs. Eliza Rowley of Fortuna; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services have been set for Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pierce Mortuary, with the Rev. J. Stubbs officiating. Burial will be in Ocean View Cemetery. Pallbearers are A. B. Mavey, Charles W. Yuill, C. R. Hutchins, Merle Dunn, Percy Trumbull, and Walter Kretner.
