Hall, esteemed long-time resident, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home at 625 North 19th street where she has lived the past 28 years. She had been ill for two weeks and seriously so the past three days. Her birthplace was in Clay Center, Mo., on August 22, 1870. She married Merriman Hall on May 8, 1888 at Beaver Creek where he was a prominent rancher for many years. He preceded her in death in 1949. Hall, esteemed long-time resident, passed away Wednesday afternoon at her home at 625 North 19th street where she has lived the past 28 years. She had been ill for two weeks and seriously so the past three days. Her birthplace was in Clay Center, Mo., on August 22, 1870. She married Merriman Hall on May 8, 1888 at Beaver Creek where he was a prominent rancher for many years. He preceded her in death in 1949. They lived at Beaver Creek until 1906, moving to Cañon City where they since made their home, except for a brief time when they lived in Howard. Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons and two daughters, William R. of Cañon City, Benjamin F. of River Sioux, Iowa, Mrs. Hester Holbrook of Pueblo and Mrs. Dorothy Northwang of Los Angeles, Calif., and five brothers, Ed Lancaster, Martin Fear, Jesse, and George all of Idaho and Charles of California; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Wilson drawing room at 2 p.m. with Dr. Benjamin Eiltelgeorge officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside cemetery.
