Burial will be in the Red Butte Cemetery in Aspen, Colo. Mrs. Rohrbough died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, at her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1905, in East Cleveland, Ohio, to Justin Miner and Grace Fraser Waugh. She attended the Laurel School in Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree in 1928 from Oberlin College and a master's degree in 1930 from Radcliffe College. She also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. She was born Jan. 3, 1905, in East Cleveland, Ohio, to Justin Miner and Grace Fraser Waugh. She attended the Laurel School in Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree in 1928 from Oberlin College and a master's degree in 1930 from Radcliffe College. She also studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. Mrs. Rohrbough taught at Stephens College and Park College, both in Missouri, and Monticello College in Illinois. She lived in Cambridge, Mass., for many years, where she was active in the Volunteers of the Deaconness Hospital. She also served on the Deaconness Hospital Board of Trustees. She moved to Lawrence in 1980 and was a volunteer at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She also was active in the Riverside Extension Homemakers Unit and Hospice, and was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church. She married George Irwin Rohrbough on June 22, 1931, in Mentor, Ohio. He died on Feb. 23, 1984. Survivors include a son, Malcolm, Iowa City, Iowa; three daughters, Faith Rohrbough, Philadelphia, Constance Rohrbough, Gloucester, Mass., and Beatrice Carlson, Lawrence; and five grandchildren.
