Funeral services were held at the Tuttle funeral home Sunday morning with Rev. E. C. Grevstad in charge. Interment was made at Radcliff, Iowa, to which city many of the relatives accompanied the ambulance. OBITUARY Martha Bakke was born in Odda Hardanger, Norway, May 16, 1849 and passed away September 23, 1938, at the age of 89 years, 4 months and seven days. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church. In 1870 she was united in marriage to Daniel Eit- treim. To this union thirteen chil- dren were born. They came to America in 1892, and made their home at Radcliff, Iowa. In 1935 she came to Howard and has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Dyvig since that time. She leaves to mourn her death, two daughters, Mrs. E. I. Dyvig of Howard and Mrs. Christina Lun- ning of Centerville, S.D., and four sons, Henry of Radcliff, Iowa, Ha- rold of Jewell, Iowa, Daniel of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ed of Gil- man, Wis., thirty grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her husband and seven children have preceded her in death. Mrs Eittreim was a devout wo- man, confessing faith in Christ as her redeemer, and cherishing the hope of eternal life through Him.
