Description	:	Martha Jane (Cooley) Dorman, 63, of Greer, joyfully joined her Lord Jesus Chris on Sunday, April 16, 2006. Born November 17, 1942, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Barney (Balus) Cooley and Hester Pauline (Westbrook) Cooley. Martha was a devoted member of Bible Study Fellowship, an international, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study. She also studied and worshiped in Pilgrim's Pathway in-depth Bible study program. Read More	Martha Jane (Cooley) Dorman, 63, of Greer, joyfully joined her Lord Jesus Chris on Sunday, April 16, 2006. Born November 17, 1942, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Barney (Balus) Cooley and Hester Pauline (Westbrook) Cooley. Martha was a devoted member of Bible Study Fellowship, an international, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study. She also studied and worshiped in Pilgrim's Pathway in-depth Bible study program. She held great gratitude and love for the dedicated spiritual leaders and teachers who followed the Lord'S call to minister to her and to others. She came to know the LORD, to love him, to trust him, to rest in him, and to rejoice in him always. A graduate of Fairforest High School and of Winthrop College, she also held Masters degrees in English from Converse College and in Librarianship from University of South Carolina. She was a dedicated teacher for many years and was retired from teaching English on various levels and from school librarianship. Martha is survived by Paul Manning Dorman, II, her beloved husband of 40 years. He was a gift from GOD. Other much loved survivors include: two sisters, Betty C. and Allan Drummond and Mary Alice C. Wingo; two nieces and their husbands, Stephen and Denise W. Heeren and David C. Smith and Alison Drummond; one nephew, Philip Drummond; and one great-nephew, Jacob Drummond Smith. Visitation was 3:00-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC. Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. at the chapel, conducted by Martha Lewis, Emeritus Missionary of International Mission Board. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends again following the burial services.
