She was the daughter of David and May Kinnaman. She was married to Thomas J Elye in Moravia, Iowa and came to Aurora, Nebraska, then to Edgar, Nebraska, in 1902. Mr Elye died October 5, 1919. She was the daughter of David and May Kinnaman. She was married to Thomas J Elye in Moravia, Iowa and came to Aurora, Nebraska, then to Edgar, Nebraska, in 1902. Mr Elye died October 5, 1919. Four children were born to this union. Surviving are one son, Harvey of Edgar, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs Della Brown of Wymore, Nebraska and Mrs Millie Countryman of Edgar, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Donald Wise of Grand Island, Nebraska; Jack Elye of Edgar, Nebraska and Mrs Lois Grossman of Nelson, Nebraska; three great grandchldren, Jeannette and Sharon Lynne Grossman of Nelson and Susan Carol Wise of Grand Island, other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs Elye was received into the membership of the Christian church at Moravia, Iowa. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 30, 1945 at the Harvey Countryman home, Edgar, Nebraska. Rev S W Longacre was in charge. M E Cushing, J M McGhie, J Rob't Olseene and Irvin Essinger sang "Beautiful Land" and "Just Abide" Pallbearers were M E Cushing, Barney Kollman, C H Merrill, E L Smock, G H Kinkead and Lee Hayes.
