Feb. 27, 1905 Washington Evening Journal MRS, MARTHA BEENBLOSSOM died at her home in Des Moines Saturday and the body will be brought here this evening at 8:15 o'clock and be taken to the Andy Beenblossom home in South Washington. The deceased was an aunt of Mr. Beenblossom. The funeral party will leave the Beenblossom home tomorrow morning at ten o'clock and proceed to the Pleasant Hill church where a service will be conducted by the Rev. S. K. Coates. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Mrs. Beenblossom was the wife of the late Josiah Beenblossom, who died and was brought here for burial about a year ago. Mr. and Mrs. Beenblossom used to reside in this community in the '80's and they had a son, Charles, buried in the Pleasant Hill cemetery. Mrs. Beenblossom is survived by two sons, Edward and Bert, of Des Moines, and one brother, William Montgomery, also of Des Moines.
