Mrs. Martha Alderman, 80 years old, died at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at her home, 208 South Duff Avenue, after an illness of a week with pneumonia which developed into influenza. Funeral services will be held Monday at (something illegible) 3 o'clock at the Duckworth Funderal home, and will be conducted by the Rev. R. M. Shipman, pastor of the First Methodist church. Seven children survive: Vinton Alderman, P. S. Alderman, and J. B. Alderman, all of Ames, Mrs. Alice Redenbaugh of Ames, Mrs. L. O. Yant of Des Moines and Mrs. J. E. Morgan of Pipestone, Minn.
