Description	:	Martha Jo Clark Martha Jo Clark, 80, of Newton and former Rosalia resident, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Via-Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Blankenship Cemetery, Rosalia. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church in Newton. On May 23, 1944, she and Wayne A. Clark were married in Wagoner, Okla. They lived in Cambridge from 1942 until 1953 when they moved to Rosalia. They lived in Rosalia until 1963 and moved to Leon at the time where they made their home until 1967. In 1967 they returned to Rosalia and lived there until after the death of her husband in 1995. She moved to Newton in 1996. She was a retired elementary teacher, having taught school from 1962 to 1985. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Newton, Retired Teachers Association, U.M.W. and the N.E.A. Survivors include: Frances Clark of Newton; Kenneth and Cathy Clark of Yorba Linda, Calif.; David and Trudy Clark of Newton; Nancy Clark of Dumfries, Va.; and Lynn and Tyra Clark of Newton; brothers, John W. Coventon, Jr., Muskogee, Okla., and James E. Coventon of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Jill and Matt Tresaugue, Corona, Calif.; Allison Clark, Chandler, Ariz.; Justin and Laura Write of Coffeyville; Annessa Clark of Newton; and Adam Clark of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials in her memory for the American Diabetes Association may be left at Carlson Funeral Home who has the arrangements.
