Celebration of Life services was at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery prior to the celebration service. Martha was born Nov. 30, 1915, in Minden to David and Eva (Knouse) Larsen. She grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School in 1934. Martha was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. She was a member of the J.B. Club, loved to quilt and has made quilts for all her family; she baked bread and made cookies for many people in the Minden area and also family. She and Orval hosted many people from Thailand over the years. Memorials in Martha’s memory are strongly suggested. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orval; a son, Delbert; a daughter in-law, Donna Ellis; three brothers and a sister. The Grand Island Independent on 26 July 2016
