Read More	OBITUARY The Greenville News (SC) - Thursday, October 28, 1937, Page 6 DUNCAN, SC - October 27 - Mrs. Martha Lister Vaughn, 80, widow of the late William M. Vaughn, died tonight at 6:10 o'clock at her residence near Duncan, following three years of declining health and four weeks of serious illness. Mrs. Vaughn was a lifelong resident of the Duncan section, and was the daughter of the late Jefferson and Alcy Wood Lister. She had been a faithful member of Woods Chapel Methodist Church since she was young. Surviving are one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Eva Christopher, Henry Vaughn and S. B. Vaughn, all of Duncan; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Duncan Baptist Church, conducted by her pastor, the Rev. B. H. Tucker, assisted by the Rev. D. R. Hill, the Rev. W. A. Christopher, the Rev. L. J. Keels and the Rev. Rufus Glenn. Burial will be made in the church cemetery beside her husband. The active pallbearers will be G. C., B. M. and Paul Vaughn, Sherman Reese, Edd McElrath and Leonard Wood. The honorary escort will be composed of the stewards of the Woods Chapel Methodist Church. After 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, the body will be at the residence.
