Anthony Hughes and the Rev. Doug Nalley officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Brian Gray, David Kruger, Tom Stephens, Ricky Kruger, Michael Goodwin, Lance Cramer and Benjamin Dempsey. Mrs. Young died Sunday morning, May 10, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. She was born in North, a daughter of the late Hiram R. and Latrell Hutto Livingston. She was a graduate of North High School. She was a charter member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband, J.W. Young of the home; two daughters, Carol Ann Young Tant of Orangeburg and Martha Berry and her husband, Gavin, of Orangeburg; three sons, John W. Young Jr. and wife, Tina, of Orangeburg, Steven L. Young and wife, Brenda, of Pelion, and Sgt. Joseph H. Young and Kathy, presently serving in Iraq; three sisters, Virginia Dunn of North, Ruth Kruger and husband, Dave, of North, and Anne Gray and husband, Bobby, of Jonesboro, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Joanna and Mary Tant, Jacob, Rachel and Rebecca Young, Florrieanne, Jeffery and Martha Grace Young; four step-grandchildren, Matt and Megan Herring, Michelle and Walter Rodriguez; three step-great-grandchildren, Paloa, Jorge and Ion Rodriguez.
