Description	:	Funeral service for Mrs. Martha Lou Ellafair Strange Marable (1872-1960), 88, who died Friday in a Tallahassee hospital after a long illness, was Sunday in the Newberry Baptist Church with Rev. Harold J. Combs officiating. Burial followed in the Newberry Cemetery with Wilson & Brannon of Lake City in charge. Serving as active pallbearers were Jack Bryan, Malcolm Courson, A. C. Knight, W. H. Bryan, Jr., John H. Maltby, James P. Love, Jr., Herley H. Booth and Tom Love, all grandsons of Mrs. Marabie. Mrs. Marable was born in Columbia County. She had resided in Tallahassee... She had resided in Tallahassee with a daughter, Mrs. James Pasco Love since last May. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of High Springs where she was active in Sunday School and WMU work. She held a life membership in the Order of the Eastern Star, Newberry chapter. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Love, Mrs. W. H. (Annie Evelyn) Bryan of Palatka and Mrs. A. C. (Thelma Vida) Knight of High Springs; one son, Walter Thomas Marable of Jacksonville; two half-sisters, Mrs. Ella Mae Yancey of Mulberry and Mrs. Ada Belle Strange of New York; three half-brothers, Reginald Strange of Albany, Ga., Cecil Strange and Howard Strange, both of Mulberry; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
