So, in 2022, I have given it to the Sumter County Genealogical or Historical Society. Her father was Col. James English Rembert & her mother, Sarah George Martin Rembert. She was first married to Lucius Alexander Williamson & then Rev. William W. Mood. Her son "Charlie" became an S. C. legislator in 1892 in one of the closest contests to that date, serving in the 60th & 61st General Assemblies. At her death, she was Martha Louisa Rembert Williamson Mood. The above 137 page diary begins on 15 April 1860; she is 29 years old, in her first marriage & her only child is 8. Throughout the pages, the focus is on her religious feelings & life. Some excerpts from that diary: page 1, 15 April 1860, Pleasant Hill: "We all returned this morning from the encampment with grateful hearts..." [a Methodist "camp meeting"] page 4, 22 Aug. 1860, Pleasant Hill: Mentions Cousin J. W. Rembert family visit. "this morning I had quite a sick turn, am still feeling badly. I spent much time nursing Addie's dear little baby... 9 Jan. 1861, the firing of first shot of War Between the States was in Charleston Harbor, S. C. page , 7 June 1861:
