She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Ottumwa to William and Letha Pool Elsensohn. She married Albert L."Al"Farrington on Nov. 10, 1943. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1982. Surviving are two sons, Al Farrington of Franklin, N.C., and Bill(Linda)Farrington of Agency; two daughters, Lisa(Tim)Bitner and Sherri(Bob)Beghtol, both of Ottumwa; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Hendricks of Ottumwa and Florence Birch of Arvada, Colo. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Veva Clary and Edna Ross; and two brothers, Grover and Fred Elsensohn. Funeral services will be 10 am Friday at Reece Funeral Home; Pastor Phil Griffith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am Thursday with the family present from 6-8 pm Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Good Samaritan Society in Ottumwa, Hospice or Faith Baptist Church.
