Description	:	Martha Louise Mace, 90, formerly of Whiskey Ridge Road and Sylvan Woods, died at 4:24 am Feb. 15, 2011, at Vista Woods Care Center. She was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Ottumwa to William and Maude Bailey McCoy. She married Carroll Lee Mace on Nov. 13, 1937. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 1981. A resident of the Ottumwa area all of her life, she was a homemaker. She loved to quilt and crochet. She was a member of the Christianburg United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Wanda(Jack)Bedner and LaWona(Fred)Daly, both of Ottumwa; a son, Steven(Linda)Mace of Ottumwa; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. James Matheney officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 am Thursday at the funeral home with the family present from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christianburg United Methodist Church.
