Description	:	Martha Luella Clark Goff, "Granny Goff," 81, of Canon City, died April 21, 1998, at St. Joseph's Manor in Florence, Colorado. She was born April 1, 1917, in Hesperus, to William Perry and Martha Lucinda Brown Clark. Mrs. Goff was a homemaker and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest delight was to shower her friends and family with gifts of her own special recipe of homemade hand cream and yarn-covered coat hangers. She moved to Canon City's Royal Gorge Manor apartments in 1980 from Durango and resided... Read More	Martha Luella Clark Goff, "Granny Goff," 81, of Canon City, died April 21, 1998, at St. Joseph's Manor in Florence, Colorado. She was born April 1, 1917, in Hesperus, to William Perry and Martha Lucinda Brown Clark. Mrs. Goff was a homemaker and an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest delight was to shower her friends and family with gifts of her own special recipe of homemade hand cream and yarn-covered coat hangers. She moved to Canon City's Royal Gorge Manor apartments in 1980 from Durango and resided there until January of this year. On January 1, 1935, in Cortez, Colorado, she married James Russell Goff, who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband , she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers and two daughters. She is survived by children William (Susan) Goff, Martha (Thomas) Smith and Thomas (Linda) Goff, seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Laura Nelson. Graveside services were held Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, Colorado. A memorial service was held to celebrate her life on May 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Canon City, Colorado.
