Description	:	Martha Iverson was born on April 3, 1924, to Henry and Mollie Ostwalt, on the family farm west of Laurel. She was the fourth of ten children. Martha attended the Hawthorne School near Laurel through the eighth grade and then started the ninth grade at Laurel High School. After the ninth grade she quit school to help on the family farm. Martha married Robert (Bob) Senitte on August 15, 1946, and to this union two children were born, Priscilla Fay in 1946 and Robert Lee in 1949. Robert passed away in April of 1960. Martha met Harold Iverson in 1963 and they... Read More	Martha Iverson was born on April 3, 1924, to Henry and Mollie Ostwalt, on the family farm west of Laurel. She was the fourth of ten children. Martha attended the Hawthorne School near Laurel through the eighth grade and then started the ninth grade at Laurel High School. After the ninth grade she quit school to help on the family farm. Martha married Robert (Bob) Senitte on August 15, 1946, and to this union two children were born, Priscilla Fay in 1946 and Robert Lee in 1949. Robert passed away in April of 1960. Martha met Harold Iverson in 1963 and they were married on September 21, 1964. They spent the next fifty-three years together as best friends and soul-mates. After retirement they enjoyed traveling to warmer climates in the winter and eventually bought property in the Yuma, Arizona area. There they spent many winter seasons enjoying the warm sunshine and making many new friends. Martha is survived by her son Bob (Patty) of Cody Wyoming; grandchildren, Lori Degele of Shepard, Lana Palmer of Billings, Lynette (Jon) Fairlee of Laurel, Sheri (Rod) Schutzman of Cody, Greg (Nancy) Senitte of Billings, and Windy (Brad) Smith of Cody; 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, daughter Priscilla, one sister and two brothers. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed, but still loved and remembered by all. Funeral services will be held at the Smith’s Funeral Chapel, 304 34th Street West, Billings MT on (Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 am). The family requests donations in Martha’s name to the Crossings assisted living facility at 600 Round House Road, Laurel MT 59044 in lieu of flowers.
