They had four children, Catherine Ann - b. 4 Jun 1828, Susannah - b. 1830, Andrew Hopper- b. 11 Mar 1835, & John Jacob - b. 21 May 1839. Martha and Jacob were divorced in 1844. She the married John Hessel Doremus, who had been married to her late sister Catherine. She was burried in the Hopper Family Burial Ground in Fairlawn, NJ.
