She grew up in North Dakota. She married Fred Spilloway, September 10, 1925 at Gackle, N.D. They lived in the Pierpont-Langford area and moved to Groton in 1956. She worked at Omer’s Café in Groton for many years. She has resided at the Colonial Manor, Groton, for the past five years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Groton. She is survived by her husband, Fred, Aberdeen Nursing Center; four daughters, Ruth Olson, Langford; Violet Olson, Andover; Mrs. Norval (Vera) Goehring, Hitchcock; Mrs. Marge Neumann, Sioux Falls; three brothers, Albert Moos, Gackle, N.D.; Edward Moos, Terry, Mont.; Gust Moos, Jamestown, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Ebel, Mrs. Emma Fries, Mrs. Lillian Mattson, all of Portland, Ore.; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two grandsons, two brothers, and two sisters. Casketbearers were all her grandsons. Mrs. Ben Anderson was the organist. Special music was provided by her grandchildren.
