Description	:	Martha P. Gray was born in Strafford, May 10, 1815, and died May 11, 1892. Her father was William Henry Gray. She was the mother of four sons and three daughters, George F. being the fifth born of the seven children. Martha married Wells R. Pinkham. Pinkham and Martha (Gray) Pinkham were originally buried on their farm, located on the north side of Four Rod Road near Ten Rod Road. Their grandson Frank's daughter arranged to have their graves moved to the Kimball Cemetery before passing away. According to local records: These two lone stones were in the middle of a field, in back of - and to the north of - the Frank Pinkham home on the Four Rod Road. At the time of copying [when people were attempting to record cemetery stones] during the Spring of 1986, the entire field surrounding the stones had been plowed, and these stones stood by themselves in their own little grassy oasis. As Frank was approaching the age of 90, he was considering the wisdom of having the remains removed to the Kimball Cemetery on the Meaderboro Road for preservation and perpetual care. Frank was the sexton of the Kimball Cemetery for many years; his parents are buried there; and markers were already in place for Frank and his wife. Frank was unable to accomplish the disinterment and move before his death on Dec. 26, 1987. However, during the Spring of 1988 while his widow was still living, their daughter made all of the necessary arrangements, and the remains WERE moved to the Kimball Cemetery. Wells R. Pinkham died Dec. 8, 1879 AE 76 ys 10 ms 14 ds Martha P Gray wife of Wells R. Pinkham died May 11, 1892 Ae 77 ys If there were others buried on the Wells R. Pinkham farm, by 1986 there was apparently no sign of it.
