Description	:	Mrs. Andrew Rosengreen, a well known and esteemed resident of the community passed away at her home just north of the city at 7:25 o'clock Sunday evening. Death was due to a stroke of paralysis which she suffered about a week before. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 from the Swedish Mission church in this city, conducted by the Rev. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the home and at 2:30 from the Swedish Mission church in this city, conducted by the Rev. R.Burton Sheppard of the Marion Street M.E. church, assisted by the Rev. L. M. Etman of the Swedish Old Peoples Home, and attended by many sorrowing relatives and friends. Burial was in the Bass Point cemetery north of Boone. The pall bearers were Anton Nelson, P.T. Nelson, Joseph Johnson, J.E. Peterson, Aaron Nelson and Andrew Johnson. Two nephews, Carl and Joe Sanberg, of Des Moines, and a niece, Miss Mary Swanson, of Chicago, were present at the funeral. Martha Carlson, was born in Bleaking, Sweden, July 26, 1847, and died at her home in Boone, Iowa, October 31, 1915, aged 68 years, 3 months and 3 days. She grew to womanhood in Sweden and in 1877 was united in marriage to Andrew Rosengreen at Christianstat Sweden. They came to America in 1880, and settled at Toulon, ill., moving to Boone county, Iowa, in 1895. To this union were born six children: Charles who died in 1902 at the age of 19 years, Oscar, Anton, Frank, all of Boone county, Mrs. Peter Riordan of Norfolk, Neb., and Harry also of Boone. All the living children with the father and husband, were at her bedside at the time of her death. She has lived in this community the last twenty years, where she was loved and respected by all who knew her. She lived a beautiful Christian life, taking much comfort in her Bible, and was a kind and loving mother. At the age of fourteen years she was confirmed in the Swedish Lutheran church. She has been a patient sufferer, having been in poor health for a number of years. A week ago last Friday she was stricken with paralysis, which rendered her speechless. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
