Description	:	Age-99, of Springfield, passed away in the Springfield Masonic Community. Martha was a graduate of Catawba High School. She obtained her Master's Degree in Education, and retired after teaching Junior & Senior High School at Mechanicsburg and Northeastern Local Schools. Martha was a member of Catawba Methodist Church, Eastern Star Caroline Chapter #39 in Mechanicsburg, and the Clark County Teacher's Association in Springfield. She was kind, caring, loving, and very patient. Martha liked gardening and being outdoors in her spare time and enjoyed watching sports on TV. She will be sadly missed by all... She will be sadly missed by all who knew her especially the staff at the Masonic Home who frequently visited her room. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her brother and sister in law William H. and Margaret E. Davisson; her sister and brother in law Elizabeth and Edward Hammond; and her nephew, William T. "Ted" Davisson. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the Vernon-Asbury Cemetery, South Vienna. Services are entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
